Our Press Board length is in Machine Direction which gives our Press Board extra strength for Strips, Spacers and other Components used in transformers.

General Classification
Platinum 3.1 is made from 100% high purity unbleached sulfate kraft pulp. The wet board is pressed & dried simultaneously to obtain boards of good dimensional stability, mechanical strength & electric strength. Good mechanical strength & compressibility make Platinum 3.1 an ideal board for manufacture of various machined components such as radial & axial spacers, cylinders, runners & blocks.

High density laminated boards
Laminated blocks are superior to natural wood and cross-laminated wood, where enhanced dimensional stability, resistance against compression and superior electrical insulation properties are required.
The laminated pre-compressed board is basically high-density (HD) board glued together for thicknesses above 4 mm up to 40mm. It exists in two versions, either with polyester glue (HDLP) or with casein glue (HDLC).
